Landscape Upgrades
The membership of the Grange is continually working on improving the "curb appeal" and the floral atmosphere around the Grange. The big plan is to include more natives, culinary varieties, small fruit trees, a patio, deck and perennial flowers to enhance the grounds for outdoor activities such as barbeques, music and receptions.
The Northcoast Growers Association is one organization that holds annual member meetings at the Bayside Grange. They also utilize the Grange to store supplies for the 5 Farmers Market held around town. It is important to the Grange to maintain its "roots" with the farmers.
the Grange is grateful that a number of the NCGA member growers recently donated plants to improve the landscape of the Bayside Grange. Here are some of the pictures of the Growers with Grange member Chris Beresford, who has also donated plants and labor.
Donors included:
Andy & Lisa Zierer of Flora Oranica
Cindy Graebner of Fickle Hill Old Rose Nursery
Rita Jacinto & Laurie Levey of Flying Blue Dog Nursery
Ryan Scott & don Wallace of Singling Tree Gardens
Maria & Tom Krenek of Glenmar Heather Nursery
Marc Robbi & Corrina Cohen of Rolling River Farm and Nursery
